1. Burj Park — Downtown Dubai with a View of Burj Khalifa
📍 https://www.google.com/maps/place/?q=place_id:ChIJ2en7dCpoXz4Rniz_tpr3Xk4
Burj Park is one of the most convenient spots in the city center. It offers a direct view of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. Spacious green lawns sit on a small island by the lake — the photos here feel light and airy.
City events are often held here, but even on a regular day you can find the perfect angle. I often recommend renting a bicycle — it helps you move around quickly and catch the best light.
2. Wings of Mexico — The Iconic “Wings” Shot
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/FDYrEdtZHhwsYNp79
Just a couple of steps from Burj Khalifa you’ll find the famous Wings of Mexico sculpture. Golden wings with the world’s tallest skyscraper in the background are basically a Dubai tourist-photo classic.
There are usually lots of people here, so I suggest coming early in the morning or simply waiting a bit — you’ll definitely get a good shot.
3. Al Seef — The Atmosphere of Old Dubai
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/pV37Au1JwnFaPQom9
Al Seef is a historic district on the Dubai Creek waterfront. You’ll find preserved old architecture, narrow streets, textured walls, and a cozy atmosphere.
It’s especially beautiful at sunset, when the light turns soft and warm.
Nearby is the Museum of Illusions — if you want to add unusual, creative shots to your collection, it’s a great addition to your walk.
4. Dubai Marina — Futuristic Dubai
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/9BYbygwdJjZhFLzM9
Dubai Marina is an ultra-modern, upscale harbor district built around an artificial canal. And honestly, it’s one of the most striking locations for a photo session in Dubai.
Here you get futuristic skyscrapers, white yachts, reflections in turquoise water, and a clean, beautiful promenade. Everything looks big, cinematic, and “Dubai.”
If you want a stylish city background — this is almost a guaranteed win.
Main photo spots in Dubai Marina
Marina Walk (7 km promenade)
This is the perfect place for a walking shoot. On one side you have the canal and yachts, on the other — mirrored skyscrapers. It’s especially beautiful during golden hour before sunset and in the evening when the buildings light up.
Views from the bridges over the canal
From the bridges you can capture very symmetrical shots — skyscrapers rising into the sky and reflecting in the water. It’s my favorite angle for more architectural, clean-looking photos.
Cayan Tower (the twisted tower)
The famous “twisting” tower is one of the most photogenic buildings in Dubai. It always adds character and looks great in portrait shots.
A yacht ride
If you want more atmospheric, premium-feeling photos — shooting from the water completely changes the perspective. The panorama of the district looks totally different.
Al Rahim Mosque
A very interesting contrast: traditional Islamic architecture against a futuristic skyline. Especially beautiful at sunset.
Marina Beach (JBR)
If you want sand, palm trees, the Arabian Gulf, and skyscrapers in one frame — JBR is perfect. This is where the city meets the sea.
Dubai Marina is great because it works for almost any type of shoot:
• tourist photo session
• family walk
• fashion / lifestyle
• evening portraits
• car photography
And most importantly — the area is huge, so with the right planning you can avoid crowds and work with the light calmly.
5. Meydan Bridge — Perfect for Car Photography
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/qoDXR3adTpTNWBHf6
Meydan Bridge in Dubai is an architectural masterpiece with a wave-like shape and a symbol of luxury. It’s perfect for futuristic photos, especially at night, thanks to the blue lighting that creates a continuous “wave” of light. This landmark connects the hotel and the racecourse used by high-profile guests. Meydan Bridge is a true engineering work of art. Its lines and shape are ideal for car photography.
During the day, you’ll get a beautiful view of the city skyline. In the evening, the bridge transforms thanks to its dynamic lighting.
6. Jumeirah Beach — Sand, Sea, and Burj Al Arab
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/1qKGpvNCbcjhTUfUA
Jumeirah Beach in Dubai is an iconic photo-shoot location combining bright sand, the turquoise Arabian Gulf, and a futuristic city skyline. The best shots are taken with the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, the JBR towers, the Ain Dubai observation wheel, and luxury yachts in the background. The best time is sunrise or golden hour before sunset.
7. Dubai Creek Harbour — Modern Arches and a Waterfront Promenade
📍 https://www.google.com/maps/place/?q=place_id:ChIJPVb7rZ9nXz4R8gJu5o8N6RU
Dubai Creek Harbour is a modern district with impressive silver arches and a beautiful waterfront promenade. It’s a great place for stylish photos.
There are many modern buildings, restaurants, and wide walking paths. What makes the area interesting is the mix of two moods: sleek new neighborhoods and spots that still keep the charm of old Dubai.
If you want a fresh, modern background that isn’t overcrowded with tourists — I often recommend this location.
8. La Mer — A Resort Vibe
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/dAyPdPQz7ieE584f9
La Mer is a lively beach with bright details and a light, urban style.
It’s especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset — soft light makes the photos truly atmospheric. The surrounding architecture is different from Jumeirah Beach and Palm Jumeirah, but the beach life here is just as active. This beach looks especially stunning at sunrise and sunset, so if you want truly beautiful shots, it’s absolutely worth waking up early or staying out later to capture La Mer at its best.
9. Ghost Town Al Madam — An Unusual Desert Story
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/cGTNp6ry9345Mn2JA
Ghost Town Al Madam can simply be placed among “desert locations, ” but for me it’s valued not so much for the sand as for its history and atmosphere. It’s a small settlement that used to be lived in, and now it’s partly swallowed by dunes.
It’s not far from Dubai, and it’s worth coming here even just for. Here you feel silence and time. Sand slowly fills the houses, glassless windows look out into the desert, and the light creates a very cinematic mood.
If you’re looking for a truly non-standard location — not glossy Dubai, but something atmospheric and unusual — Al Madam is definitely worth considering for unique shots.
10. Al Qudra Lakes — An Oasis Among the Dunes
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/9hG5ZWwC1xyiFVKc7
Just about 40 minutes from the city — and you’re already in an oasis in the sands.
Al Qudra Lakes are a real oasis surrounded by golden dunes. This place creates truly unique conditions for car photo shoots and landscape photos.
Water framed by dunes looks especially impressive at sunset. The oasis is part of the Al Marmoom Desert Reserve and is home to many local plants and animals.
Sometimes we all want to escape the noisy мегаполис and spend a day in nature. Just about forty minutes from Dubai — and you’re in a different world. You can have a picnic, a BBQ by the lake, ride a bicycle, or simply take beautiful photos with sandy hills and water in the background.
11. Palm Jumeirah — A Man-Made Wonder
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/88DrarRd1WyMwZES8
Palm Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s most famous engineering achievements. This artificial palm-shaped island creates amazing conditions for photo sessions.
Like many popular places in the city, it’s loved by tourists, but it also offers a variety of backgrounds: architectural landmarks, elegant hotels, neat waterfront promenades, and views of the coastline.
If you drive a bit around the island, you can find calmer spots for shooting. Being slightly separated from the mainland lets you capture beautiful panoramic views of the coast and a sense of space. This location is also perfect for car shoots.
12. Dubai Miracle Garden — A Blooming Desert
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/RZZdNwGkFgN2kBcWA
A blooming desert is a rare sight — and it’s especially surprising to see it in winter.
Dubai Miracle Garden is the world’s largest flower garden, covering about 72,000 square meters. More than 50 million flowers are planted here, forming huge sculptural compositions.
Heart-shaped arches, flower tunnels, bright landscape installations — all of it looks incredibly impressive in photos. This place is perfect for colorful, vibrant, and romantic pictures. It operates during the cooler season.
13. Hatta — Mountains and the Dam
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/3rNnN5wXNTJDsFJbA
The town of Hatta at the foot of the Hajar Mountains impresses with its natural beauty. Majestic mountains and scenic valleys create a completely different landscape compared to city Dubai.
Here you’ll find the open-air museum Hatta Heritage Village. The complex includes a watchtower and stone houses that look exactly the same as they did сотни лет назад. Inside, the traditional lifestyle of the emirate’s local residents is recreated — furniture, dishes, and everyday items.
Nearby is Hatta Dam — a calm lake among cliffs that makes a truly strong impression and is perfect for atmospheric photos.
14. The Pointe — The Best View of Atlantis
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/W9VrKh8xTNSpzXDw6
The Pointe is located on Palm Jumeirah and is considered one of the best places for a walk with views of Atlantis, The Palm and the open ocean.
It’s a shopping and entertainment destination with restaurants, stores, and a waterfront promenade. Here you can combine a family walk with a beautiful photo session away from the city bustle.
The promenade offers gorgeous views of the Arabian Gulf and the famous Atlantis resort. The best shots are taken in the evening, when the lights come on and the atmosphere becomes more dramatic.
15. Kite Beach — Energy and Motion
📍 maps.app.goo.gl/EUL1TpDngZCRgjCA9
Kite Beach will appeal to both lovers of beautiful photos and fans of active отдых. Here you can rent kayaks, kitesurf gear, and other equipment прямо на берегу.
This place is perfect for dynamic shots. Don’t forget to bring a GoPro if you’re planning action footage.
A walk along the promenade, a stop at one of the many beach cafés, and of course a photo with the magnificent “sail” of Burj Al Arab in the background — all of this creates a lively, real Dubai atmosphere.
If you’re planning a photo session in Dubai — I’ll help you choose the location, timing, and shooting style so your photos feel alive, not “like everyone else.”
