Pregnancy is a deeply personal journey, and photographing it requires trust. It’s all about preserving the warmth of this waiting period, the beauty of a growing form, and the quiet sense of care — all while ensuring the mother’s safety and comfort.
📆 When to Schedule:
The ideal time for a maternity session is usually between 28 and 32 weeks.
By this stage, the bump is beautifully visible, but the mother still feels relatively comfortable and mobile.
If there are any health considerations, we’ll discuss the best timing together with your doctor’s guidance.
🎀 Atmosphere & Styling:
- Flowing, lightweight dresses and fabrics help highlight the silhouette in a soft and elegant way.
- A mix of covered and partially uncovered looks (as much as you’re comfortable with) can beautifully reflect intimacy and strength.
- Black-and-white portraits add timelessness and draw attention to emotion and connection.
👨👩👧👦 Who Can Join:
- Partner: Tender interactions — soft touches, kisses, preparing the baby’s space — bring emotion and connection into the frame.
- Children: Older siblings bring pure, unscripted emotion. Their involvement creates some of the most heartwarming moments.
- Props: Tiny booties, an ultrasound photo, or a note with the due date — used subtly to keep the focus on you.
🛟 Comfort & Safety First:
- We take regular breaks. Water, rest, and a place to sit are always available.
- We avoid long or complicated poses, high heels, or exposure to extreme temperatures.
- I’m always tuned in to how you feel — and we can pause or stop the shoot at any time, no questions asked.
📸 What Kind of Shots to Expect:
- Soft side-lit portraits, capturing your silhouette with grace.
- Close-ups of hands on the belly, loving gazes, quiet connection with your partner.
- Family interactions — cuddles, laughter, and natural moments with children.
- Artistic shots with flowing fabrics — either outdoors in the breeze or gently styled in the studio.
